The Roberto Plasencia Saldaña Bicentennial Theater is pleased to present a series of concerts that will enrich the Christmas season, highlighting the commitment of institutions and groups that promote the comprehensive training of boys, girls, adolescents and young people in musicals.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26
Christmas Concert with Symphony Orchestras of the Leon Foundation
- Sunday, November 26 at 1:00 p.m., the Main Hall of the Bicentennial Theater will witness an emotional Christmas Concert by the Symphony Orchestras of the Leon Foundation, conducted by maestro Moises Mata Pina. More than 180 talented young musicians will offer a selection that highlights the human values promoted by the Leon Foundation with stories such as teamwork, excellence and cultural diversity.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6
Winter Didactic Concert 2023 with the Musical Winds Symphony Orchestra
- On December 6 at 6:00 p.m., the Roberto Plasencia Saldaña Bicentennial Studio Theater will vibrate with the 2023 Winter Didactic Concert of the Vientos Musicales Symphony Orchestra, directed by Francisco Javier Balboa Luna. This event, aimed at girls, boys, adolescents and young Guanajuatenses, seeks to promote social and comprehensive development through music.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9
IMAGINA Children’s and Youth Orchestra and Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Department of Music and Performing Arts of the University of Guanajuato -OSIDeMAE-
- On December 9 at 4:00 p.m., the Main Hall of the Theater will be the scene of the joint presentation of the IMAGINA Children and Youth Orchestra the OSIDeMAE is directed by Jose Rafael Melgar Azanza. These groups, born from community initiatives, seek to contribute through symphonic music to the comprehensive development of girls, boys and young people.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10
Concert by the CIPEC Orchestra and Choir
- On December 10 at 5:00 p.m., the Main Hall of the Theater will receive the CIPEC Orchestra and Choir, directed by Ana Maria Gonzalez Mezquia. CIPEC AC, a non-profit institution, has contributed to regional development through the comprehensive training of children, youth and adults through music, education and culture.

Admission to all these concerts is free with tickets, which will be delivered to the theater box office one day before each event.
