After suspending 2 editions of ANPIC last year because of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Association of Supplying Companies of Mexico –APIMEX- bets this year for 2 ‘in person’ fairs:
- ANPIC Spring-Summer
- DIVEX
An emblem of the City
The Association announced that after one year absent, finally this coming May 26th to the 28th it will hold its traditional supply fair, an emblem of the city of Leon and which will gather at Poliforum Leon companies that offer their products for the shoe and leather, leather goods and textile clothing sectors.
All along it will hold the second edition of DIVEX, this year it will be in person, after the last year expo was held in digital virtual form.
Reactivate the sector
The President of APIMEX, David Novoa said that after an exhaustive analysis of today’s health and economic conditions, the Board of Directors considered that it is necessary to retake this events to immediately reactivate the industrial sector that has suffered the loss of more than 3 thousand jobs among its members.
Novoa said that with the satisfaction of returning to its –in person- format they have the responsibility to adopt and maintain all the necessary health prevention actions and that to achieve this they have designed a protocol that will help minimize the risks of Covid 19 contagion.
All controlled
Among the actions to be adopted is a digital ID card, a counter of visitors that will maintain the number of visitors allowed by Authorities, besides areas will be sanitized, all shall use a face-mask, body termperature will be registered, etc.
The Expo will have broader hallways and each stand will allow 3 to 16 people at once, depending on the square meters of the stand. Until now 180 companies will take part in the ANPIC event mainly from Mexico and USA.
Six thousand visitors a day
Only a máximum of 1,500 people a day will be allowed at each hall, so in total up to 6 thousand buyers can be at the expo at once every day.
To increase the business opportunities, there will be an attention center for international buyers that will be operated by COFOCE where there will be 14 companies from countries like Dominican Republic and USA, all interested in Mexican suppliers.
Conferences
To improve the experience of visitors, ANPIC will have a program of conferences with specialists who will present topics like: specialization and adoption of suppliers, international trade and foreign investment, digital markets, consultancy, innovation and futurism, besides fashion and consumer trends.
As ANPIC goes on DIVEX will also occur, it is the first multisectorial business fair of intermediate goods for the industry where through the exhibition of supplies of different sectors and a businesses reunion with national and international companies they try to actívate the economy and increase the productive linking through the positioning of the regional industry, promoting a lower import of supplies than occurs today in Guanajuato, promoting exports and the generation of businesses in the short, mid and long term.
Multisectorial
DIVEX includes among its members companies from industries like: automotive, aerospatial, agro-industry. Medicine, furniture, chemical, plastics, textile, hygiene and personal care.
DIVEX will have a Business meeting B2B among 28 supplying companies and 23 buyers; they will have some 100 reunions on May 27th and 28th based in the supply needs of the invited buyer companies.
To hold this expo, APIMEX will have strategic allies like COFOCE, INDEX Guanajuato and INDEX National, institutions that are looking for companies that want to contact suppliers
