The Secretary of Social and Human Development of the State of Guanajuato –SEDESHU-, Libia Dennise, led the inauguration of the 61st Edition of ANPIC held at the Poliforum Leon.
Representing the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, the head of SEDESHU congratulated those who make this very important fair possible “a fair that once again puts Guanajuato in the eyes of the world”.
Libia said that the vision of the State Government to internationalize and promote Guanajuato companies is achieved by making them more competitive and can conquer new opportunities and markets.
The vice president of ANPIC, Alejandro Macias Caballero, informed that it is the third most important supply fair in America for the leather, footwear, leather goods, textiles, furniture, chemicals and machinery sectors with more than 22 thousand visiting buyers a year who come from 31 countries.
In this 61st edition, which is held from May 3rd to the 5th, there are 600 stands and more than 250 brands on display.
Fernando Padilla, president of APIMEX, thanked all the exhibitors for their valuable participation and invited the people of Guanajuato to visit the fair to take buy the products and be at the conferences that will be offered.
The Secretary Libia Dennise added that this edition of ANPIC “also represents important support to maintain the economic reactivation of the leather-footwear and supply sector, it also means preserving and increasing more jobs for Guanajuato families.”
