ANPIC achieves more than 200 million in sales during the 62nd Edition of the Fair

In the three days of exhibit, the 62nd Edition of ANPIC generated more than 200 million pesos in sales, according to reports by exhibitors who also informed that with the contacts made they will have additional sales in the mid and long term.
The ANPIC Fair that had 890 stands, was visited by more than 7 thousand buyers and visitors from 24 countries like:
- Mexico, USA, Guatemala, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Italy, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Canada, and other
ANPIC also had visitors from Mexico, from States like:
- Guanajuato, Jalisco, Estado de Mexico, CDMX, Puebla, Michoacan, Queretaro, Aguascalientes, Nuevo Leon, Veracruz, Hidalgo, Yucatan, and other
The spending from buyers, visitors and exhibitors was reported at some 154 million pesos by different concepts like:
- Design, materials for stands, temporary jobs, lodging, food, transport and gasoline, personal purchases and entertaining
According to reports by visitors, the articles they most asked for in this edition were:
- Machinery, tanned products and leather, synthetic and textile, lasts, heels and soles
The Fair presented the One Stop Shop Pavilion by ANPIC, where buyers were able to find in one single place processes of manufacturing and certified supply with the quality for export, all to accelerate the supply chain and the processes to increase the production of shoes. One Stop Shop had 16 manufacturers and 33 suppliers.
ANPIC had a cycle of conferences where the most noted were the participation of:
- The design house Battasi
- The TV presenter and entrepreneur Oscar Madrazo
- The fashion and influencer coach Diva Lomas
- The director of design of the brand Cuidado con el Perro and entrepreneur Roberto Sanchez
- The participation of directors of the center of innovation and technology for the shoe-leather sector, INESCOP, of Spain
Also in the fair there was the second edition of the Hackathon, with the participation of students from Universidad de Leon and Universidad La Salle, both worked on a prototype of a garment, the goal was to design a suit that could be modified to be used in three different events, students of design, marketing and administration participated in this challenge to also create a business model to commercialize the suit.
In its promotion of fashion, ANPIC had the traditional Fashion Cocktail and catwalk where they presented the collections of the renown Mexican designers Maria Ponce, Ivan Avalos and Jesus de la Garsa, who have designed for well known people like Sam Smith, Shakira, Kourtney Kardashian, Thalia, Danna Paola, Gloria Trevi, Black Pink, among other.
The next edition of ANPIC will be held April 24, 25 and 26 of 2024 at Poliforum Leon.
