“In Guanajuato we are betting on the Aerospace Cluster, so that in the coming years we will be leaders in Mexico in this sector”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor was at the 1st. General Assembly of Members 2023 of the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry -FEMIA-.
Rodriguez Vallejo, after welcoming FEMIA members to the city of San Miguel de Allende, pointed out that together with private investors, this Cluster is being strengthened in Guanajuato, which will become one of the main engines of development of guanajuato.
The Governor also thanked Rene Espinosa, President of the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry; as well as Oscar Rodriguez Yanez, President of the Bajio Aerospace Cluster for all the steps taken to carry out this Assembly in Guanajuato.
The Governor recognized the work carried out by the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry, since it contributes to strengthening the country’s economy. This association represents more than 100 companies.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that for Guanajuato, holding this Assembly in our state has an important meaning, since work is being done here to promote the aerospace Cluster through innovation and Mindfacture.
Here, said the Governor there is an important innovation ecosystem made up of:
- Universities, research centers, incubators, industrial parks, technology parks, industrial clusters, investors, entrepreneurs and investment funds
There is also a great opportunity to migrate the supply chain from the automotive sector to the aerospace sector, which will trigger Mindfacture projects.
“Therefore, in Guanajuato there will be an important development of the aerospace sector. The invitation is to come to Guanajuato, a State in permanent dialogue with the world, which builds the future and which is the epicenter of innovation and Mindfacture”, noted the Governor.
The FMIA is an association established in 2007 that brings together and represents more than 100 companies in the Mexican Aerospace Industry (including Bombardier, General Electric and Safran); it also supports small, medium and large companies in internationalization, promotion, certifications, among other.
