The Gto Health System through Health Jurisdiction VI invites the entire population of the Municipalities of Abasolo, Cueramaro, Huanimaro, Irapuato, Penjamo and Pueblo Nuevo to participate in the Intensive Vaccination Campaign Triple Viral this coming Saturday, March 9 from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.

This vaccine protects against diseases such as measles, rubella and mumps (MMR) and focuses its attention on children between 12 and 18 months and 6 years of age.

In addition, vaccination schedules for children under 5 years of age, vaccination for adolescents, pregnant women, adults and older adults will be completed.

There will be 63 vaccination posts located in health centers and outdoor points, which will be announced on traditional media, the social networks of the VI Health Jurisdiction, as well as public broadcasting in the streets and neighborhoods of the aforementioned municipalities.

Health teams are now ready to protect the population from an outbreak of measles, a viral disease that is transmitted by the spread of saliva droplets that affects children under 5 years of age and whose complications include blindness, pneumonia, encephalitis, among others, which is why it is of utmost importance that the population takes advantage of this free benefit and goes to get vaccinated.

So that the whole family can get vaccinated, schedules will be completed with the application of vaccines against pneumococcus, rotavirus, DPT, SR from the age of 10 and tetanus vaccine.
