“The fight against corruption is a permanent task and an attitude of life. Just as integrity in business is the result of personal and social values”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo.
A commitment
The Governor took part in the closing ceremony of the Business and Student Conference, and the public signing of the commitments “Integrity for Business: The Strength of your Company”, Rodriguez vallejo pointed out that in Guanajuato transparency, accountability and the fight against corruption are part of an integral public life.
Training program
“I am very pleased to participate in the signing of the Decalogue for Business Integrity, which is the culmination of a training program for companies and students, so that they can have ways of taking care of their internal integrity with their codes of ethics and its internal policies,” he explained.

Prevent corruption
“I know your purpose is to generate a culture of greater integrity, aimed primarily at businessmen as a way to prevent corruption. My recognition for facilitating the link between the academic sector and the business world, on this very relevant topic”, noted the Governor.
Life made easier
He said that in the State Government there is the conviction of being a digital government, because that is the way in which life is made easier for the citizen and in the process you avoid corruption. We maximize the provision of procedures and services online; now a large number can be done in whole or in part online.
“The fight against corruption is a relationship between society and government”, said the Governor.
Integrity and ethics
Rodriguez Vallejo added that in order to form a solid culture in favor of integrity and ethics in business activities, “you are working on involving the student community, as future professionals and company heads.”
The first
Rodriguez Vallejo noted that Guanajuato is the first state in the country in which the signing of this Decalogue takes place. “With the strength of business and academic institutions, the strength of government institutions and society, will will have good results”, said the Governor.
Rodriguez vallejos said that Guanajuato is located in the first three places in the country with the lowest corruption index, according to a survey conducted by COPARMEX.

- 9. Implement efficient and anonymous reporting channels
- 10. Establish a corruption risk assessment system in companies or organizations
