Capital Startup Capital: brings together entrepreneurs and investors

Conferences, panels and pitches marked the day for participantes in this encounter

With a lot of passion, enthusiasm and the generation of ties that connect entrepreneurs with investors went on the first day of Capital Startup Capital, the most important venture investment platform in Mexico.

CSC attendees were able to enjoy panels, such as: “ Perspective of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Latin America”, where Federico Vázquez, from Hefesto Legal, Luis Marquez, from Film Solve Awards and Guillermo Cruz, from Maquia Capital, spoke about the opportunities that entrepreneurs have in the Latin American ecosystem, especially Guanajuato, where connections are facilitated through the Valley of Mindfacture, bringing investors closer to entrepreneurs to enhance the development of the State through the promotion of ideas and knowledge.

Other panels were: “Everything you need to know about venture capital in Latin America”, with the participation of Bernardt Vogel, from VU Venture Partners, Carlos Torres de la Cuba, AMG Block Ventures, and Lina Cuervo, from Cube Ventures.

“The Venture debt as a strategy to accompany capital raises”, in which Irene Huete and Anabel Nunez, from BBVA Spark, shared with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the benefits of this innovative area of ​​​​BBVA, which encourages entrepreneurs to make their ideas real.

In the panel, “Open innovation: The way to connect corporations and startups”, John Laia, from Startup Advisor and Michael Mbogoro, from Oxetia, Oxford University, talked about open innovation, a concept that has revolutionized the way Companies address change and creativity, as instead of operating in isolation, corporations are increasingly seeking alliances with agile and disruptive startups to drive innovation in their industries.

Other panels such as: “IPO: The exit that many investors seek” and “The Panorama of Deeptech investment in LATAM”, were also part of the Capital Startup Capital 2023 program.

Capital Startup Capital is for everyone, which is why CSC Kids was also held, a round of presentations in which young people and children from ByJUS and ICONMUNITY were able to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills to the audience.
