“Did you know that in (Atotonilco) Guanajuato we have the ‘Sistine Chapel of Latin America’”?, was the question made by Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo as he presented in his social networks a video that shows the Sanctuary of Jesus Nazarene, a beautiful religious building located some 20 minutes from San Miguel de Allende and which is known as the “Sistine Chapel of Latin America”.
The place, says the Governor of Guanajuato, “Is an important place because of its architecture and its history”, and he finishes his invitation saying: “¡Make the plan and visit the place!”
And an old acquaintance of this State of Guanajuato answered to the invitation by Governor Diego Sinhue and said: “I have visited it, and I can say that it is an artistic jewel of Mexico!”, such was the answer by former Ambassador of the United States in Mexico during the Presidency of the Republican Donald Trump, Christopher Landau, who finished his message saying: “I wish to say hello, Mr. Governor, to you and to all our Guanajuatense friends”.
And it happens that it is well known that during his term as Ambassador to Mexico of our neigbor in the North, Christopher Landau was a frequent visitor of Guanajuato oficially as Ambassador or having some trips trying to pass as an unknown person just to admire the beauty of our State of Guanajuato.
“I am really glad to read from you dear Christopher. Whenever you want we are waiting for you in Guanajuato, the invitation is there as soon as you have an opportunity, the Greatness of our State is its noble and kind people, you will always be welcome”, answered the Governor of Guanajuato to the former US Ambassador on Twitter.
