Governor of Guanajuato led the “First Migrant Cavalcade” from Guanajuato to San Felipe

Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, led the “First Migrant Cavalcade” held during the International Day of the Migrant.
Commitment with Migrants
The main objective of the Cavalcade is to confirm the commitment with migrants from Guanajuato in the World, as well as to recognize and make more visible the effort and importance of migrants, their families and communities, said the Governor.
Constant work
“Today we commemorate the International Day of the Migrant, but all through the year we do actions in the State Administration for the benefit of migrants”, said the Governor, who was in the event with the President of the State DIF System, Adriana Ramirez Lozano.
Protection of migrants
Rodriguez Vallejo insisted that through the Secretary of the Migrant and International Affairs, in Guanajuato there is a commitment to support Guanajuatenses abroad, as well as to protect the human rights of migrant people who go across our State.
Welcome back
The Governor said that with this Cavalcade, also, in a symbolic way, the State welcomes those migrants who are returning home to spend the year’s end with their families.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that starting this year, the Migrant Cavalcade will be held every year.
Love for our land
“Today, as we commemorate the International Day of the Migrant, we confirm our support and respect to our migrants, for their social commitment, their solidarity and love for our land”, noted the Governor at the opening ceremony of the Cavalcade where the Secretary of Migrant Juan Hernandez and other State and Municipal Officials were present.
Hard work
Braulio Delgado of the Club de Migrantes Unidos Otates, thanked the support of State Authorities to Guanajuatenses in USA. “Thanks for your support and the attention you offer to us, it is good that in Guanajuato you recognize our hard work”.
A long ride
The Cavalcade started at the MacroCentro Deportivo II in Guanajuato and ended at the tourist ecological center Cabañas Sierra Real in San Felipe, Guanajuato.
