Magic Holidays for all

The Christmas Tree was lighted in downtown Leon, and at the Calzada next to the Arco. The attractions will brighten the holidays for thousands of Leoneses and visitors.

Hundreds of families from Leon gathered and made the walk from the “Arco de la Calzada” to Downtown Leon, stopping at Templo Expiatorio to light the Giant Nativity on a pre-Holidays celebration for Leoneses and visitors.

Ale Gutierrez, the Mayor of Leon gave a hopeful message and confirmed her conviction and desire that 2022 will be a  much better year; where economic reactivation is a reality and families can live united and in peace.

“We hope that next year will be much better, a year where we have better conditions at school, more work, a reactivated economy. We want a 2022 full of happiness, activities, where all the families have a much better quality of life. That is why, we all at the Administration are going to work for you”, said Ale Gutierrez.

Ale and thousands of Leoneses and visitors were at the “Chrismas Walk” on Sunday night, that went along the Madero street, starting at the Arco de la Calzada, where artisans and producers of the Marca Gto brand have a stand to offer their products as well as in the Plaza Expiatorio.

Ale invited everyone to know and buy products from Guanajuato, since they are of great quality and buyers help the economy of many families.

The “Christmas Walk” went to Downtown, where the City’s Christmas Tree was alighted, as well as the Nativity and lights on the facade of the City Hall.

“These are times to be enjoyed, we should be thankful for being here, for being alive, we come from really hard months and now we want all of you to be happy”, said Ale Gutierrez.
