The People’s Government led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, brought more than 380 job opportunities to job seekers from Valle de Santiago, Jaral del Progreso and Yuriria, through the 2026 Job Connection.

The event brought together 22 companies with vacancies for different profiles, from operational and technical positions to administrative roles, expanding the hiring options for those seeking to join or develop in the labor market.

The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, emphasized that “a job opportunity can begin with a conversation of just a few minutes. That’s why we connect companies with people who are looking for work and create spaces where they can meet directly.”

Among the participating companies are:

  • Mazda Motor, Grupo Lala, Mabe, Pirelli, Procter & Gamble (P&G), Gamesa, Kromberg & Schubert, Hutchinson Hoses, Arcosa, Dauch, Ozblu, Mega Frescos, GMC, DNMEX and Iberica Tiles, among other

As part of this strategy, the Secretary of Economy has the free platform, Coneecta, which allows users to consult job vacancies, register profiles and find out which companies are currently looking for talent.

These actions are integrated into Guanajuato Suma, the new state economic policy, through its Talent, Employability and Inclusion axis, which seeks to strengthen the link between available talent and the needs of companies, as well as promote training and skills development.

In Irapuato, the Secretary of Economy delivered productive equipment as part of the “My Plaza” Markets and Street Markets Program, benefiting 338 vendors: 240 women and 98 men from Irapuato, Salamanca, Silao, Romita, San Francisco del Rincon, and Guanajuato.

The delivery represented a State investment of more than 2 million 509 thousand pesos, intended to strengthen the businesses of merchants who generate daily income for their families and contribute to the movement of the local economy.

Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, Secretary of Economy, highlighted that one of the commitments of the People’s Government is to generate conditions so that families can strengthen their income and get ahead through their own work.
