The goal of the agreement between both institutions is to prevent crime

The Government of the State of Guanajuato and the ITESM –the Technological Institute of Superior Studies of Monterrey-, signed an agreement of collaboration to work in the prevention of crime.
The Governor is the witness
The agreement was signed by the head of the office of the Secretary of Government, Alfonso Ruiz Chico; the Executive Secretary of the State System of Public Security, Sophia Huett Lopez and by Alejandro Alfonso Poire Romero, the legal representative and Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Government of the Tec de Monterrey. The honor witness was the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
“This is an agreement that helps both institutions. The State Government, because it works on one of our greatest priorities in the Program of Government, that includes working for security and social peace”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
Innovation and strategy
“It is inspiring if we do it with the participation of all the sectors of society, especially when we will work in the area of prevention. That is what this agreement is all about, how we can go on advancing, with innovation, strategy, with results, in one of the most important topics in our State program, the prevention of crime”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The signing of this agreement becomes part of the Government program 2018-2024 which includes the goal to “Promote Innovation and entrepreneurship for sustainable development” and its first strategy is “Innovation to combat crime” and one of its actions is to “Innovate programs of participation of society to prevent crime”.
Commitment and talent
Alejandro Alfonso Poire Romero, the Dean of the TEC de Monterrey said that with this agreement the effort of Authorities and citizens becomes one and that it is an example of the commitment and talent applied to solve one of the most serious problems of citizens.
“Guanajuato is an example because since this State Administration started the commitment to work for the security in the State was well noticed. It is for us a privilege to be able to work and add on to this effort and be able to help and solve the problem, and also be certain about the actions in the latest years in Guanajuato on security”, said Poire.
All are collaborating
Sophia Huett Lopez said that citizens, through the council of citizens, cooperates to strengthen security and justice, and together we all can achieve great results.
“The Project that starts today is promoted by citizens members of the State Security Council, all working for their role to increase the citizens’s participation, and also strengthen the channels of communication and collaboration of authorities with citizens”, said Huett.
