The HJ Family of Companies is inaugurated

The American company strengthens its presence in Guanajuato by creating 125 committed jobs, contributing to the industrial development of Guanajuato

The State has reached 51.60% of its six-year goal in attracting investment, with more than $4.128 billion committed

With the creation of 125 jobs, the new plant of The HJ Family of Companies was inaugurated in the Colinas de Leon Industrial Park, strengthening the presence of the specialized industry in the State and consolidating its integration into global value chains.

Under the leadership of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, Guanajuato continues to promote an economic policy aimed at creating conditions of certainty for investment, strengthening the competitiveness of businesses, and generating more development opportunities for the people of Guanajuato.

Representing the Governor, the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, noted that the arrival and expansion of global companies is the result of coordinated work by the government, private initiative, education institutions and society.

“Every investment that comes to Guanajuato represents new opportunities for our people. The opening of this plant confirms that we have the talent, infrastructure, and conditions necessary to continue attracting high-value projects that strengthen our economy and generate prosperity for Guanajuatense families,” said Villasenor.

The HJ Family of Companies is a US-based company with over five decades of international experience, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of components and solutions for the electrical industry. The new plant in Leon boasts over 10,000 square meters of facilities and will serve as a strategic manufacturing and distribution platform to support both domestic and international markets.

The opening of this project strengthens the economic relationship between Guanajuato and the United States, one of the state’s main trading partners. Since 2006, Guanajuato has secured 97 investment projects from U.S. sources, representing more than $5.453 billion and the creation of over 32,540 direct jobs.

The numbers in the current State administration:

• 59 investment projects have been completed
• Representing $4,128.28 million
• The creation of 15,461 committed Jobs
• An advance of 51.60% of the six-year goal set at $8 billion

The People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to boost investment, strengthening talent development, promoting innovation, and creating conditions that allow more companies to grow and invest.
