The innovation in materials, design, and processes driving Mexico’s fashion industry will be showcased during MUSA Design Fest 2026. This event will gather over 80 supplier companies developing solutions for various design and manufacturing sectors.

Organized by APIMEX, this meeting is part of the ANPIC ecosystem, established as one of the leading spaces for business, innovation, and trends for fashion supply in Mexico.

In the event, specialized companies will present materials, components, and developments aligned with global sector trends. These are aimed at industries such as leather-footwear, leather goods, accessories, furniture, industrial design, and fashion.

Innovation at the core

The president of APIMEX, Fernando Padilla Padilla, highlighted that innovation within the industry begins with the suppliers. “Fashion starts with the materials, technology, and the creativity of those who develop the supplies that make every product possible,” he said.

MUSA representatives emphasized that this platform seeks to strengthen the connection between suppliers, designers, and buyers, creating business and collaboration opportunities that boost the sector’s competitiveness.

Specialized program and global perspectives

In addition to the commercial exhibit, the fair will include a specialized content program featuring conferences, networking, and experiences.

Notable participants include industry specialists such as:

  • Lucy Lara
  • Lydia Lavin
  • Farah Slim

The speakers will share perspectives on fashion evolution, brand building, and the impact of digital communication.
