The People’s Government delivered 33 identity cards and certificates of work competence to women entrepreneurs in Atarjea, as part of the Women at the Forefront initiative

As part of the strategic initiative “Women at the Forefront: Economic and Personal Empowerment”, the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, delivered 33 certificates and labor competency certificates to women entrepreneurs from the municipality of Atarjea, reaffirming its commitment to promote the economic independence of women throughout Guanajuato.
This action represents the vision and ongoing support of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, who has promoted a closer, more inclusive economic policy with a territorial focus, placing women at the center of the development and prosperity of Guanajuato.
The award was given in the profile “Advisor in sales of products and services”, as well as in the standard of “Provision of customer service”, accreditations with State and Federal validity that recognize the job skills that the beneficiaries put into practice daily to strengthen and grow their businesses, allowing them to join and compete in the formal market with greater certainty and professionalization.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, emphasized that this type of certification “is a recognition of the effort, discipline, and trust that each of you has chosen to have in yourselves. From today on, you have official backing that validates your talent and ability.”
The 33 certified women are part of a total of 300 female entrepreneurs trained during 2025 through the Mujeres al Frente (Women at the Forefront) initiative promoted by the Secretary of Economy that provides comprehensive training, support and official certification in job skills, with the aim of strengthening the entrepreneurial capabilities, financial autonomy and leadership of Guanajuatense women.
The beneficiaries from the municipality of Atarjea will receive two labor competence certifications: the State profile Advisor in sales of products and services, as well as the ECO305 competence standard “Provision of customer service”, from the National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies (CONOCER).
With Women at the Forefront, the People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to build a fairer and more equitable Guanajuato, where women have the necessary tools to consolidate their businesses, access better opportunities, and become agents of change and prosperity.
