Twenty-seven women entrepreneurs graduated in the 10th generation of the “Entrepreneur to Businesswoman” program of AMEXME Leon Chapter

In Guanajuato, women are a fundamental engine of economic development; more than 1.2 million participate in the workforce, nearly 38,000 lead companies, and 446,000 have formal employment.
As part of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo’s vision to promote fairer and more equitable growth, Raul Fabricio Ibarra Rocha, head of the office of the Undersecretary for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), representing the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, participated in the graduation ceremony of the 10th generation of the “Entrepreneur to Businesswoman” program of AMEXME Leon Chapter.
In the event, 27 women entrepreneurs were recognized for successfully completing this training process, aimed at consolidating, formalizing and strengthening women-led businesses through the development of strategic vision, business skills and specialized support to compete in increasingly dynamic environments.
Ibarra Rocha emphasized that the professionalization of local businesses is key to the economic development of Guanajuato, while also contributing to build a new, more competitive, responsible business culture open to new business opportunities, where economic growth goes hand in hand with human development and social commitment.
The People’s Government reaffirms its support for female entrepreneurs and businesswomen in Guanajuato, through training, financing and networking programs that allow them to transform ideas into solid, sustainable businesses that generate prosperity for Guanajuatense families.
