Business owners and entrepreneurs of “Marca Guanajuato” who participated in the People’s Pavilion at the 2026 Leon State Fair exceeded sales of more than 147 million pesos.

Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo has been the main promoter of local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), establishing cross-cutting public policies that allow producers from the 46 municipalities to access new marketing spaces.

The 2026 edition of the People’s Pavilion featured spaces in rooms B300, C3, Mezzanine and the new C5; the latter hosted 138 exhibitors.

The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, explained that the strategy of this edition focused on giving visibility to Guanajuato’s MSMEs as competitive brands, capable of projecting the quality of Guanajuato to national and international visitors.

Fashion, innovation and services: a comprehensive offer

The People’s Pavilion became a total experience. Through “Fashion Wednesdays,” more than 120 brands from the leather and footwear, textile, fashion, jewelry, and agro-food sectors participated in nine fashion shows.

This initiative, which showcased the talent of local creators in the C3 room, will also be replicated at the Irapuato Strawberry Fair 2026 and at the Leon Summer Fair.

In addition to the stands of local products, a module of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) was set up, achieving 205 company registrations and strengthening the identity of Guanajuatense brands.

Likewise, the Secretary of Economy provided comprehensive support through CONEECTA job placement modules, microcredits and Industrial Connection, ensuring that the People’s Government economic programs reach more people.

Finally, the family atmosphere was boosted by activation events with mascots such as Exportin, Capsulin and the Super Health League, which, together with 19 State agencies, made the People’s Pavilion the vibrant heart of the 2026 edition.
