The goal is for every investment that comes to the State to open real opportunities for local MSMEs

In order to strengthen the internal economy of Guanajuato, the business reunión of the ‘Industrial Connection’ program was held, where more than 60 local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) presented their commercial offer to the Alamano convenience store chain.
This outreach effort is part of the strategy promoted by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo to ensure that the State’s economic dynamism translates into real and direct opportunities for Guanajuato families and their businesses.
In this regard, the head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, noted that the Industrial Connection program is a key piece for the development of the State.
“This strategy is the direct link between established companies or new investments with the suppliers that are in the perimeter or in the vicinity of the foreign investment or the new company,” said Villasenor.
She added that, to extend the economy, the strategy is focused on ensuring that each investment translates into a growth engine that promotes quality jobs and diversifies our sectors for the generation and preservation of employment.
In this edition, the chain reached out to companies offering products such as salsas, hot tortillas, pastries and dairy products, as well as specialized products such as agave, mezcal, craft beer, eggs and pet supplies.
The participating companies demonstrated that the local industry has the quality and standards necessary to compete in large convenience store chains.
Villasenor Aguilar added that this collaborative model between the government and the private sector not only gives visibility to local producers, but also positions Guanajuato as a benchmark in strengthening its domestic market.
