After holding a meeting with Air Europa executives, the People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, announced that the agreement with this Spanish airline was signed to open the Bajio-Madrid Route.
“We are very happy because we have just finished this meeting, where the agreement with Air Europa was signed, which is committing us to the Bajio-Madrid flight, it will be a direct flight”, said Libia.
“This new air route represents greater connectivity for our State, and this adds to the effort we are making to continue promoting Guanajuato as a world-class tourist destination,” said Libia Dennise as this meeting came to its end, which is part of her tour of Spain, as part of the participation of Guanajuato in the 46th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), where Mexico is participating as a partner country.
“We continue to strengthen our ties with the world, and what we have seen on this working tour is that there is a large European market for traveling to Guanajuato, and many visitors also come from our State to Spain, mainly to Madrid. Therefore, with this signing of the Bajio-Madrid Route, the Guanajuato economy is also strengthened,” the Governor noted.
Libia Dennise added that details of this new route will be announced in a joint conference with the Spanish airline.
