Promoted by the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, the People’s Pavilion grows in Hall C5 of the Poliforum Leon, a space of 2,000 square meters that adds 138 new Guanajuato Brand exhibitors at the 2026 Leon State Fair.
Under the leadership of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, this expansion responds to the success of previous editions and seeks to strengthen the visibility of local producers in crafts and food, in a continuous tour format that prioritizes direct interaction between merchants and visitors.
According to the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, the People’s Pavilion, in all its spaces, promotes cultural identity and local consumption, and generates opportunities in national and international markets.
The People’s Pavilion, in its different zones, is designed to have a natural flow, integrating entrepreneurs from the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato, with emphasis on emblematic products such as:
- Cajeta, hats and footwear, tequilas, mezcales, wines, sweets, bread and cheese
In total, in all areas of the People’s Pavilion: B300, Mezzanine, C3 and C5, more than a thousand producers and 19 State agencies participate, along with the Marca Gto and a service module of the Secretary of Economy to inform about employment programs and the strengthening of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The 2026 Leon State Fair, from January 9 to February 4, coincides with the 450th anniversary of the founding of Leon and the 150th anniversary of the event itself. After attracting 6.75 million visitors in 2025, the goal this year is to surpass that number, solidifying the position of Guanajuato as a leading tourist and economic hub.
