‘Knocking on Doors’ connects with people and creates opportunities

With the “Knocking on Doors” program, the People’s Government takes to the streets of Irapuato to listen firsthand to the needs of civilians

The Secretary of Economy confirms its commitment to the economic and social development of Guanajuato

The People’s Government brings social and economic programs closer to the strengthening of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), employment options and benefits of investments in the State with the strategy “Knocking on Doors”.

The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, toured the streets of Ocote, Rosal, Eucalipto, Pino, Oyamel, Hiedra, Cedro and Sauce in the Las Huertas neighborhood to listen to concerns, address needs and bring the programs of the People’s Government closer. In the work tour Villasenor was with other Officials of the Secretary of Economy.

Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo is leading this strategy of closeness with the citizens to establish direct communication with Guanajuatense families through visits by the heads of the legal and extended cabinet to priority areas.

“Governor Libia asked us not to leave anyone alone, because this is a Government that listens, that delivers, and that works every day for and with the people. The Government has to go to the people. We are going to keep coming, listening, and delivering. Because this is the People’s Government, and in the People’s Government, people come first,” she said.

During the tour, entrepreneurship options, productive equipment for self-employment, training and job placement services were presented, as well as the benefits of companies setting up in the municipality that open up job opportunities.

Maria del Carmen, a local resident, said , “I think it’s great that they’re coming to ask about our needs,” and thanked the authorities for their willingness to listen to her and address her requests.

Under the principle of “fewer processes, more citizenship,” the strategy promotes a close government that leaves the offices to serve and support the population in every corner of the State.

Officials explain the different strategies for accessing support and improving quality of life through open dialogue with the community.

Each visit is an opportunity to strengthen trust and build community by answering questions, channeling support, and addressing requests directly in people’s homes.

The People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to a humane, sensitive, and people-centered government.
