Purisima del Rincon is getting ready to host the twelfth edition of the “Noches MAgicas” Festival, one of the most anticipated and emblematic events in the Rincon region.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 8, starting at 2:00 p.m., at the San Andres Sports Fields in Jalpa de Canovas, a designated Magic Town.
During the press conference, organizers presented the new features and logistical adjustments for this 2025 edition, which are designed to enhance the visitor experience and accommodate the event’s sustained growth in recent years.
The Festival is transforming into a family-friendly, sustainable, and zero-plastic event. The consolidation of “Noches Magicas” reaffirms the municipality’s commitment to environmental care and responsible coexistence.
The Municipal Government’s policy encourages service providers to use reusable, biodegradable, or compostable materials, strengthening local actions for responsible and sustainable tourism.
A key highlight of this year’s edition is the presence of five hot air balloons, including both special-shaped and traditional models, which will illuminate the night with a unique visual spectacle, allowing families to enjoy and capture unforgettable photographs in an atmosphere filled with magic and color.
Additionally, attendees can enjoy workshops, recreational activities, a children’s area, rest areas, and a gastronomic pavilion featuring the best of local cuisine and new international proposals.
The official program presentation was presided over by the Mayor of Purisima del Rincon, Roberto Garcia Urbano, who was with David Ayala Saucedo, General Director of Tourist Development for the Secretary of Tourism and Identity of the State of Guanajuato, along with other City officials.
Mayor Roberto Garcia Urbano expressed his enthusiasm in presenting a new edition of the festival, which “has become a regional benchmark thanks to constant innovation and the commitment of the citizens of Jalpa de Canovas, who year after year strengthen the identity of our Magic Town, in addition to the work, participation, and training of service providers”.
The Mayor also acknowledged the significant economic benefit for the community and the municipality.
David Ayala Saucedo, General Director of Tourist Development, recognized the efforts of the municipality and Purisima’s Tourism Department, emphasizing that Purisima del Rincon is an example of coordinated work of Government, society, and the tourism sector, and underscoring that Jalpa de Canovas is already a reference point within Guanajuato.
The 2025 edition will feature the addition of an international cuisine zone, showcasing the best gastronomy from six invited countries:
- Venezuela, Argentina, Egypt, El Salvador, Pakistan, and Algeria.
The participating countries will share the flavors, traditions, and aromas of their culinary cultures, enriching the visitor experience with a global tour of tastes.
Other attractions include:
- Amusement ride area
- Concert zone
- Family and children’s zone
- Expanded gastronomic zone
- New restroom facilities
- An improved access
The entire event will be supported by an extensive public safety, traffic, and civil protection operation, ensuring a safe, orderly, and accessible event for all attendees.
More than 70 local, regional, and state service providers will participate in the event, offering a rich sample of gastronomy, desserts, handicrafts, and rural experiences, thereby strengthening the local economy and the cultural identity of Purisima del Rincon.
