The October 2025 Fair has officially begun in Purisima del Rincon, heralded as the best fair in the region, running from October 4 to 21. The event features a Cultural Pavilion, a “People’s Pavilion” promoting local consumption, and a Teatro del Pueblo (People’s Theater) inviting the community to gather and enjoy.

The inauguration was a vibrant spectacle, making the city “vibrate” with drum-and-dance troupes, pyrotechnics, city and community queens, groups, municipal authorities, and the community of Purisima del Rincon.

The opening night proved to be an immediate draw, with the fairgrounds reporting an attendance exceeding 6,000 people shortly after 9 PM.

The launch effectively comprised three simultaneous inaugurations:
- The main fairgrounds opened
- The Cultural Pavilion in the city center debuted with the official 2025 fair song
- The Teatro del Pueblo at the fairgrounds offers daily shows with famous musical groups
Municipal authorities, led by Mayor Roberto Garcia Urbano, are once again seeking to boost the consumption of local products and simultaneously showcase the value of Purisima del Rincon through the distribution of spaces at the fairgrounds.

Mayor Garcia Urbano, who was present at the inauguration along with Municipal DIF President Enriqueta Martinez Lopez and members of the City Council, expressed pride in presenting the characteristics and identity of Purisima. Garcia Urbano noted that the event was made possible, in part, with support from the Federal and State Governments.

Garcia Urbano emphasized the “energy” radiating from every image and display presented by children, youth, and adults from all sectors who participated in the parade. All were recognized and applauded by the populace who gathered to celebrate their identity with Purisima.
State officials, including Claudia Campos Delgado, Director of Social Tourism, and Daniel Oswaldo Aguilar Diosdado from the State Secretary of Economy, were also present for the inaugural event and tour.

The Mayor’s Office offered its full support to the Fair Committee for organizing an inclusive and welcoming festival. Garcia Urbano stressed that the Federal, State, and Municipal collaboration strengthens the roots and traditions of Purisima del Rincon and its people across various commercial, service, and employment sectors.
Approximately 50 contingents paraded through the streets of downtown Purisima del Rincon, announcing the celebration in honor of its patron saint, El Senor de la Columna.

The street parade itself drew significant attention, featuring the rituals of various indigenous dances, the ‘Ciclones’ drum and bugle corps, a small train, street performers (comparsas), entrepreneurs, mojigangas (giants), batucadas from Dr. Mora and Manuel Doblado, cheerleaders and the torito dance from Romita, tuned and classic cars, and more.
At the October 2025 Fairgrounds, the “People’s Pavilion” opened, alongside the games area for children, adolescents, and “the young at heart.”

The fair features:
- 36 exhibitors with the “Marca Gto” program
- 8 from Purisima del Rincon
- 27 from other municipalities
- Offering products like: agro-foods, crafts, leather, footwear, artisanal beverages, and local industrial goods
- 12 local entrepreneur modules
- 92 exhibitors distributed throughout the fairgrounds
- 8 bars
- 7 card-game areas
Purisima del Rincon’s Fair is ready to welcome locals and visitors alike.
