The Secretary of Economy, in coordination with the Secretary of Human Rights, held the first “Labor Liaison: Bringing Job Opportunities Closer to the Guanajuatense Migrant” Conference.

Led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the People’s Government facilitates the labor and social reintegration of migrants returning to Guanajuato, with the goal of providing them with an opportunity to restart their lives in the State.

The head of the Secretary of Human Rights, Liz Alejandra Esparza Frausto, said that this approach to job opportunities is part of the Assisted Return Plan “MigranTeQuiero,” enforced by the Governor.

“Since the implementation of the MigranTeQuiero Plan, we have assisted more than 800 returning Guanajuato residents with various support options, ranging from issuing identity documents, healthcare, enrolling minors in basic education, financial support for repatriation expenses, and productive projects, among other,” said Esparza.

Representing the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, the Undersecretary of Employment and Job Training, Luis Andres Alvarez Aranda, stated that access to decent employment is a right and a reality that is within reach through these events.

“The purpose of this event that presents job opportunities is simple but powerful: to establish a direct bridge between you, the job seekers, and the companies. Know and rest assured that Guanajuato will always be your home, and we will always welcome you here with open arms and value your talent,” said Alvarez.

More than 39 local and regional companies participated in this event, offering a total of 556 vacancies in the automotive, manufacturing, and services sectors.

This effort by the State Government reaffirms its commitment to social inclusion and economic development by providing decent and secure employment to those returning to their places of origin after migratory experiences.

Job Links connect job seekers directly with companies, enabling rapid, free, and effective access to employment opportunities, with a positive impact on the economic stability of migrant families and the community at large.

With these actions, companies reduce recruitment and selection times, allowing them to understand the real needs of the labor market.

Thus, job placement opportunities for the returning migrant population were optimized, boosting their visibility and recognizing their valuable contribution to Guanajuato’s economic activities.

The People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting initiatives that foster inclusion, inclusive development, and the comprehensive well-being of all Guanajuatense residents, especially those who return to contribute their talent and experience to the prosperity of Guanajuato.
