Officials hand over the flag to a group of students who are traveling to live experiences in three continents

The Technological University of Leon handed over the flag to the second group of students benefited by international mobility programs “Lionesses and Lions Around the World” and “On the Road to Japan.”

These scholarships, funded by the University, aim to strengthen students’ training in internationalization and contribute to their academic and professional growth.

Two students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Innovation and Marketing, Maria Concepcion Hernandez Becerra and Edgar Uriel Aguirre Aguilar, will participate in an academic exchange program at the Toulouse University Institute of Technology, France. From September to December, they will take courses related to their education program to strengthen it and enhance their overall development through an international experience.

- In Japan, Mechatronics students, Flexible Manufacturing, Luis Angel Sanchez Castro and Jonathan Ulises Ramirez Gaytan, will travel for 15 days on the Rumbo a Japon scholarship, sponsored by Juventudes GTO, after achieving outstanding performance in the last robotics tournament in Guanajuato. During their stay, they will learn about the culture and traditions of that country, in addition to visiting companies and universities in the Asian country.

UTL announced that two students will undertake professional stays in Europe:
- Myriam Astrid Bazaldua Ramirez, from the Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management and Development, at the Hampton by Hilton Alcobendas Hotel, Madrid from October 6 to December 6, 2025 and Gabriel Alfonso Olivares, from the Bachelor’s Degree in Gastronomy, at the Local Restaurant of Ensayo, France from October 1 to December 29, 2025, contributing to their professional preparation abroad and expanding their knowledge by getting to know different cultures with the aim of being able to implement them in their professions once they return to Mexico
