More than 500 attendees participated in the event called by COFOCE that recognized Guanajuatense companies for their innovation, leadership, and commitment to internationalization

The “Exporting Changes Your Life” event was held, an initiative of the People’s Government through COFOCE, which reaffirms the commitment to bring the export culture to all corners of Guanajuato.
The reunion brought together more than 500 people, including business leaders, entrepreneurs, representatives of the education sector, State and Municipal authorities, and specialists, with the aim of highlighting how exports are a real tool for economic and social transformation, especially for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
COFOCE director Luis Rojas Avila emphasized that exporting changes lives, transforms communities, and puts Guanajuato in the eyes of the world.
“Exporting changes your life; it’s much more than an event. Today we celebrate and recognize the exporters who have brought Guanajuato to the world. We recognize businesspeople, and entrepreneurs who have invested in exports and who, through their products, bring the best of Guanajuato to international markets,” said Rojas.
The Secretary of Economy of Guanajuato, Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, reaffirmed the commitment of the State Government with the business sector, so that their products reach global markets.
“In this administration, we reaffirm our daily commitment to each and every one of you. On behalf of our Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, we recognize COFOCE’s tireless work in providing solutions that allow Guanajuato to remain competitive and resilient. Exports improve the quality of life for families and communities, and also translate into the peace we desire for our State,” said Villasenor.
Guanajuatense companies were recognized in various categories:
- Special Proteins – New exporter
- Stark 7 – Company with export innovation
- Ceramic Artilugios – MSMEs led by women
- Wire and Metal Processing Plant – Traditional company transformed for export
- Sombreros Salazar Yepez – MSMEs with social impact
“The Export Changes Your Life program reflects what many entrepreneurs have experienced: exporting not only transforms the company, but also families, communities, and the State, which proudly projects itself around the world. We receive this recognition with gratitude and with the commitment to continue being ambassadors of Guanajuato with every product we export,” said Guillermo Salazar Yepez, one of the winners.
The event included lectures by experts in leadership and global teams, design and image for export, sourcing and nearshoring and export models.
A Business Meeting was held with more than 300 appointments by national and international buyers and Guanajuato businesspeople.
The final message was clear: “Exporting Changes Your Life” is not just an event, but a demonstration that in Guanajuato, exporting is a tangible opportunity for all companies that want to grow, innovate, and make their mark on international markets.
