The People’s Government, through the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Fund, was an honor witness at the graduation of 256 people determined to move on, who completed the Initial Entrepreneur Workshop.
This event, held in the municipalities of Dolores Hidalgo and San Felipe, also included the participation of residents from Ocampo and San Diego de la Union.
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, head of the People’s Finance group, said in her message that, with the vision of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, opportunities are being sown where previously there were obstacles.
“Today is not just any day. It is a very important day for all of you, because you are young, because you are women who dared to say: Yes, I can! I can get ahead! Because this was a workshop created especially for you,” said Padilla.
“But you also take with you the necessary tools, and that represents a super powerful word: believing in yourselves. Because, on many occasions, we already know this, but how many times do we tell ourselves this and we have to reinforce it,” said the Official.
Ivon reported that this is the sixth installment, reaching 22 municipalities, with more than 1,700 new entrepreneurs benefiting from a “push” for their businesses and with the goal of promoting economic inclusion in communities throughout Guanajuato.
Several graduates were recognized for the social impact of their projects, and some have already accessed state funding schemes to boost their initial stages of operations.
“We know it hasn’t been easy. You’ve often faced doubts, closed doors, or those who didn’t trust you. But here you are, with new tools, fresh ideas, and, most importantly, the support of the ‘We Believe in You’” program.”
Padilla Hernandez told the beneficiaries, “You are not alone! This non-payable support of 7,000 pesos is more than just money: it’s a vote of trust, a helping hand, recognizing your talent and effort”.
With this generation, Tu Puedes Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship by providing opportunities for young people, women, people with disabilities, and rural communities to better life opportunities.
