The Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG) held its Second Graduation Ceremony, an event that recognized the effort, dedication, and commitment of 2,645 graduates who successfully completed their studies at various educational levels.

Representing his class, Adan Zermeno Ruiz shared a message that resonated with attendees, recognizing the value of perseverance and the social commitment that comes with earning an academic degree.

“This achievement is the fruit of perseverance and resilience in the face of the challenges of postgraduate studies. Beyond academic knowledge, this experience has left us with the responsibility to contribute to the common good, promote equity, and lead with commitment in our professional fields,” said Adan.

Senator Miguel Marquez Marquez congratulated the graduates, highlighting the transformative impact of education and recognizing the effort involved in studying under diverse living conditions.
“Education doesn’t change the world, it changes the people who will change the world. You are an example that you can work, be a mother or father, and still study and succeed,” said Marquez.

UVEG Rector Ricardo Narvaez Martinez emphasized the importance of viewing education as a constant process that strengthens not only individuals but also the institution and society.
“Education is a continuous process that transcends a single academic stage. Our university is strengthened by the joint efforts of students, families, and academic staff. Today you are an example of self-improvement and motivation for future generations,” said Narvaez.

The academic authorities agreed that this ceremony not only represents the closing of an academic stage, but also the beginning of a new chapter for each of the graduates, who, thanks to UVEG’s virtual modality, have managed to overcome geographical and time barriers to achieve their goals.

UVEG reaffirmed its commitment to continue providing quality, accessible, and flexible education, training professionals capable of contributing to the development of their communities, both in Mexico and abroad.
