In the second half of 2025, the Secretary of Economy will launch employment and support programs for returning Guanajuatenses
More than 6,700 people will be served through outreach and recruitment, plus thousands of vacancies at Coneecta platform

The Secretary of Economy of the People’s Government is activating a comprehensive plan to assist people returning to Guanajuato, with the goal of facilitating their reintegration and access to employment, training, and development opportunities.

The Assisted Return Plan for Migrants launched by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo includes a three-phased care protocol:
- Counseling and support in the United States
- Assistance at border crossings
- Comprehensive support in Guanajuato

From the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, head of the Institution, said that work is being done to promote a dignified return, with access to employment and prosperity in the communities of origin through cross-outreach actions.
For the second half of 2025, the agency will establish 10 job placements in the municipalities:
- Guanajuato, Irapuato, Celaya, Leon, Apaseo el Grande, Apaseo el Alto, San Luis de la Paz, and Dolores Hidalgo
- With the capacity to serve up to 5,200 people seeking a new opportunity

At the same time, four recruitment sessions will be held in:
- Abasolo, Valle de Santiago, San Jose Iturbide, and Coroneo
- Up to 1,550 people are expected to be served, in collaboration with local and regional companies
The Coneecta platform, promoted by the Secretary of Economy, maintains opened:
- More than 16,700 job opportunities
- Offered by 1,800 companies
- With 3,500 active vacancies
- Facilitating the integration of those seeking to re-enter the labor market

The Secretary of Economy reaffirms its commitment to create conditions for those returning to Guanajuato to find a favorable environment for rebuilding their life plans, through programs such as:
- The job center, employment centers, the Mexico-Canada Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program, “Chamba para la Gente,” temporary employment, and productive projects
The People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, invites returning residents and their families to explore available programs and services, reaffirming the vision of a People’s Government that accompanies and supports those who decide to return home.
