A booming State for investors

In Guanajuato entrepreneurs find an ecosystem that provides certainty for their investment

Guanajuato is a State where the law rules, it provides connectivity, suppliers and qualified workforce

“A great moment is coming for Guanajuato and we should take advantage of it, I have it clear that I should be a great promoter of our State, of investments and guarantee a State where the law rules”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo in his visit to the company Novatec in Leon, Guanajuato.

Training the workforce

The Governor gave the results of the Program of Formation for Employment and Labor Profesionalism where 155 people who are new workers and others improved their labor abilities for the company.

“In Guanajuato we are able to create new technology and to créate the conditions for entrepreneurs to invest. Both the public and private sectors should evolve, find new opportunities”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.

The rule of law

“Investors should trust in Guanajuato, they should know that there is an Authority that abides by the law, and companies like you (Novatec) motivate us to go on the route of attraction of investments. We will keep generating this positive sinergy of employment, quality and vision. What you have shown us presents a company that works with the newest in technology and that is in the route of the future”, said the Governor.

Training and improving abilities

The Program is conducted by the Government of the State of Guanajuato through the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), and offers an economic support to unemployed people who join a company in activities of formation or training to strengthen their work abilities and competencies, as well as granting services of specialized training for work in order to generate and develop the technical competencies and/or the attitude as they are required by the labor market.

Yesterday 125 trained workers started working at Novatec and the labor competencies of 30 more people were strengthened, these 30 people were supported with scholarships for 2 million and 92 thousand pesos.

Budgetary alternatives

The Governor said that in Guanajuato the attraction of investments moves the economy, and it is the fundamental axis to reduce poverty as it generates formal jobs; entrepreneurs find an ecosystem that gives certainty to their investments, a State where the law rules.

Rodriguez Vallejo insisted that he will keep working in the combat against insecurity in the State and find alternatives that strengthen the economy.

“We are ready”

“Guanajuato is a booming State, with a lot of opportunities and we are ready for new investments, that is the greatest challenge against adversity”, said the Governor.

“We have been hit really hard on the budget and we will have one with an amount like the one in 2017. It is 7 thousand million pesos less that the Federation is taking away from us this year. And again we must tighten up the belt, but we will not leave behind farmers, the Economic Development, Tourism, Security, Health and Education”, warned the Governor.
