According to the hydrometeorological report of the Secretary of Water and Environment, during the month of May, 62.9 millimeters or liters per square meter were recorded, which represents 170% of the historical average for this month, which is 37.2 millimeters.

The state’s main dams have an average storage of 53.03 percent, recording 946.1 million cubic meters.
For the month of June, there is a monthly outlook of 104.8 millimeters with a historical average of 108.3 millimeters, with the accumulated average throughout 2025 to date (June 6) being 115 millimeters.

On the other hand, regarding the levels of drought and derived from the rainfall that occurred, as of May 31:
- Of the 46 municipalities
- 22 were located Without Drought, that is, 48%
- 18 were identified with an intensity Abnormally Dry (D0) corresponding to 39%
- 6 were found in Moderate Drought (D1) equivalent to 13%
- The intensities Severe Drought (D2), Extreme Drought (D3) and Exceptional Drought (D4), were not recorded in the territory of Guanajuato

Regarding the second half of May 2025 of the State surface:
- The presence of moderate drought D1 continues, it decreased from 48.4 to 2.7%,
- The abnormally dry intensity D0, it decreased from 50.1 to 23.8%
- The surface without drought (SS) increased from 1.5 to 73.5%
