The exhibit “The Great Force of Mexico” seeks to strengthen the culture of peace, promote social inclusion, and spark youth interest in service and commitment projects

“Today we are experiencing a new chapter in our national history, one in which we must demonstrate that there are more of us who are good and that the power of the Mexican State must be felt in all its splendor to guarantee something fundamental: that Mexican families can live better lives,” said Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.
The Governor of Guanajuato was at the opening of the exhibit “The Great Force of Mexico,” a display where everyone can learn about and experience, for a day, the activities and training carried out by members of the Mexican Air Force, National Guard, and Army.
This exhibit, organized by the Secretary of National Defense through the XII Military Region and the XVI Military Zone, in coordination with the Government of the State of Guanajuato, aims to strengthen ties between the Armed Forces and civil society, as well as to showcase the exemplary work carried out by the Mexican Army and Air Force, with the aim of promoting values such as discipline, respect, love of the country and solidarity.
More than 480 military personnel will guide the experience through 13 thematic modules, including Military Parachuting, Special Forces, DN-III-E Plan, Tactical Medicine, and Cavalry, in addition to allowing the public to interact with vehicles, aircraft, and military equipment.
“The Great Force of Mexico” is an educational and interactive experience for children, youth, and adults. It seeks to strengthen the culture of peace, promote social inclusion, and spark youth interest in participating in projects with a sense of service and commitment.
The exhibit will be open to the public from April 25th, until May 27th, 2025, at the Explora Science Center, located at 202 Francisco Villa Boulevard, Colonia La Martinica, in the city of Leon. Admission is free from 9am to 6pm, including weekends.
“Enjoy this exhibit, and may our visit also renew our commitment to do more for Guanajuato and Mexico, because here all sides contribute to build peace. Each and every one of us, from our families, can also build better citizens for this Mexico, which so desperately needs unity,” said the State Governor.
Military and civil Authorities, both State and Municipal participated in the inauguration of the event.
