The young of Guanajuato are innovative, forward-thinking, and have a sense of belonging; the Government of the People promotes various actions to benefit their comprehensive development”, said the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, during the broadcast of the program Connecting with the People.
The program featured the participation of the General Director of the Institute for Development and Care of the Young, Regina Trujillo Dominguez.
Libia Dennise lamented the passing of Pope Francis and noted his legacy: “He was a man who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who followed his teachings.”
“He was a man of freedom who came to revolutionize the concepts of love for one’s neighbor and charity, our solidarity…our heartfelt condolences to the Catholic Church,” said the Governor.
The Governor emphasized that young people are a cross-cutting focus of this Administration, as all departments that have specific actions to support their development in education, health, the economy, sports, and culture.
Regina Trujillo said that since the beginning of this administration, working with the youth of the 46 municipalities has been a priority; “so that they have a voice and their needs are heard.”
The Governor explained that Juventudes has four major strategies:
- Support and Financing for education and employment
- Mental, Physical, and Emotional Health for the Young
- Guanajuato Without Addictions
- Network Juventudes
The People’s Government offers the New Beginning and Talent Export or Evoluciona Scholarships, and applications are now open, explained the Director of Juventudes.
“Young people are not alone. We are listening to you and supporting you so that you can continue with your studies,” said Libia Dennise.
It was informed that there are also scholarships for Young Pregnant Mothers, Prepare Yourself, Young with IDEA, Young for the World, and International Mobility.

Juventudes is about serving the young people of the 46 municipalities. It’s not just about scholarships, it’s about different areas of attention for their comprehensive development, said Libia Dennise.
The Juventudes Institute already has eight Leadership Networks and eight Communities, comprised of more than 11,000 people.
Regina Trujillo said that these networks and communities are moving toward becoming a larger network called RED JUVENTUDES, with the motto “To Add is to Multiply,” where young people will be supported in their personal and professional development, said Trujillo.
The call for applications and the rules for participating as a facilitator are on the official website;

On the other hand, Libia Dennise highlighted the Mental, Physical, and Emotional Health Strategy for the Young, a topic of great importance to the People’s Government, it is being addressed by the Secretary of Health through the State Mental Health Services Network, with the Call Center (800) 290-0024 available 24/7, 365 days a year, in addition to the website dinamicamente.mx for online psychological support.
“At the Government of the People, we believe in the young people of Guanajuato because we know of your great capacity and talent, of your full potential to build your own destiny and achieve your dreams, you are not alone”, the Governor said.
