With the aim of strengthening the training and professionalization of Guanajuatenses and public servants, the State Training Institute (IECA) and the Institute of Literacy and Basic Education for Adults of the State of Guanajuato (INAEBA) signed a collaboration agreement on training.

The agreement was signed by Salomon Ceballos Ochoa, director general of IECA , and Jose Jesus Correa Ramirez, director general of INAEBA, who highlighted the importance of this alliance in promoting education and employment development in Guanajuato.

Ceballos Ochoa stressed the importance of the agreement with INAEBA and expanding the possibilities of bringing services closer to the people “taking advantage of the spaces you have to provide this training offer for people who go through INAEBA, so that they are also trained in a specialized trade, in some specialty that companies require and then they have that double opportunity, not only training in primary or secondary school, but also in a labor aspect, traditional education in which you only study secondary or high school or university is long gone, now what the industry requires are specialized trades, that people have mastery over a specific skill to enter the industry or a company and provide a better service in an institution.”

Ceballos said that people can count on the support of IECA at its 31 campuses in Guanajuato, and emphasized that the priority of the People’s Government is to bring services closer to the people of Guanajuato, taking advantage of all the available opportunities in the municipalities to provide training to more people.

Correa Ramírez said that through the agreement with IECA, INAEBA will train its staff in various skills, but the main objective is that “when a person has obtained their primary and secondary school certificate and with our strategic allies within the companies, we look for related skills and continue with that training to people who are already working in the companies, seeking to be better through IECA and follow up with that transversality.”

Correa said that he trusts that INAEBA and IECA can work together to provide the best education and training services for the benefit of the people of Guanajuato.

The agreement establishes a basis for collaboration to carry out coordinated actions in the delivery of courses for public servants and INAEBA beneficiaries, with the goal of generating social and economic value.

IECA will develop content and provide qualified instructors, offer preferential pricing, teach courses in person or online as needed, and provide a digital portfolio of assessments and certificates to trainees.
