The Secretary of Security and Peace reports more than 5 thousand seizures in one week

From February 3 to 9, operations of the Secretary of Security and Peace, through the Undersecretary of Security and the Undersecretary of Operational Intelligence, resulted in:
- More than 5,462 seizures, among which are a refrigerated box and a dry box that contained merchandise worth more than 2.2 million pesos, 5,617 doses of drugs, 88 people arrested, weapons, motorcycles, vehicles, and tractor-trailers in the 10 regions of Guanajuato
The Undersecretary of Operational Intelligence of the Secretary of Security and Peace participated in the integration of 86 investigation files generating 30 police reports, mainly for the crimes of auto transport theft and organized crime, among other.
Members of the Field Investigation Commission completed an investigation request made by the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office for the theft of a refrigerated box that was transporting meat, property of the company “SuKarne”.
Anti-extortion Squad personnel responded to 13 cases that occurred in the municipalities of Salamanca, Celaya, Irapuato, Leon and Purisima del Rincon. The affected parties were assured of the commitment to investigate and identify the alleged perpetrators and were provided with information on preventive measures to avoid becoming victims of this crime.
During this same period, from February 3 to 9, the Undersecretary of Prevention carried out 108 actions benefiting 1,814 people from the 46 municipalities of the State with activities such as installation, training, accompaniment and monitoring of Neighborhood Security Committees, Citizen Participation and Business Prevention Units.
The Secretary of Security and Peace remains firmly committed to building, through the Operational Coordination of the New Anti-Crime Intelligence Force (CONFIA), the peace demanded by the inhabitants of the State of Guanajuato.
