The institutions build 2 primary schools and 2 preschools in Leon

Following the instructions of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, so that the girls and boys of Guanajuato study in the best conditions, the State Secretary of Public Works -SOP- is building 4 new schools in Leon.
Juan Pablo Perez Beltran, head of the SOP, reported that two primary schools and two preschools are being built in Leon, for which an investment of 55 million 089 thousand 623 pesos is allocated, through the work program agreed upon with the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato.
The State Official said that the largest investment is made in the Jorge Ibarguengoitia primary school, located in the Brisas del Campestre subdivision, where 12 classrooms, 2 restrooms, a principal’s office, a staircase module, a civic patio, a multipurpose court, a front wall with an access portico and perimeter fencing are being built, for which 22 million 916 thousand 682 pesos are being channeled.
Perez Beltran added that 14 million 021 thousand 636 pesos are being invested in the construction of a new primary school in the La Marquesa neighborhood in the Joyas area; this school will have 6 classrooms, a bathroom, a civic patio, a perimeter wall, a multipurpose court and a roofed court.
Meanwhile with an investment of 10 million 231 thousand 139 pesos, a preschool is being built in the Villa Olimpica subdivision, where facilities include 6 classrooms, a bathroom, a management office, a perimeter wall and a covered civic patio.
In the Paseo de las Torres subdivision, another preschool education facility is being built, for which 7 million 920 thousand 164 pesos are being invested. There, 3 classrooms, a bathroom, a perimeter wall and a civic patio with a roof are being built.
The Secretary of Public Works said that that all schools are built under the highest quality specifications, so that they provide the best service to the education community, comprised of students, teachers, and support staff; since, as stated at the beginning, for the Government of the People, education is one of the most important priorities.
