The Governor highlights the closeness of this Conciliation Center to the people; an organism that works to serve Guanajuatenses with quality and warmth

“Labor peace is one of the great strengths of Guanajuato, which has been key to maintain productivity and generate more sources of work for Guanajuatense families”, said the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.
Libia participated in the presentation ceremony of the 2023-2024 Annual Activities Report of the Labor Conciliation Center (CCL) of the State of Guanajuato.
In the Government of the People, it is very important to guarantee access to labor justice. Therefore, peace, dialogue and respect between workers and employers is strengthened in the Center that was created on November 3, 2021.
“Today we are very pleased to see the numbers presented in this Report by the General Director of the Labor Conciliation Center, Juana Haydee Escobar, which represent the trust of workers and employers in this new model, of being able to approach conciliation as an alternative method of resolving disputes,” said the Governor.
“For us, constant training of those who are now part of this Labor Conciliation Center has been essential from the very beginning, which is why we have sought spaces for ongoing training, not only for upper level officials, because Guanajuato is a pioneer in union training, which allows the labor culture of peace in Guanajuato to remain more up to date than ever”, said the Governor.
“We will continue to strengthen this Labor Conciliation Center so that it becomes the best in the country,” the Governor said.
Since it started operating this new system transferred the jurisdictional function in labor matters to the Judicial Branch, and left the conciliatory function in the sphere of the Executive Branch.
For three years now, the Center has solved conflicts between workers and employers through a system that responds to the demands of the community.
The General Director, Juana Haydee Escobar Porras, as she presented her report on activities, noted that “in this institute we are working on a continuous improvement of our services, therefore we continue working with different strategies to better serve the people of Guanajuato.”
The Center was created as part of the labor reform in Mexico, to offer a space for mandatory prior conciliation before resorting to the courts. Its main objective is to resolve labor conflicts quickly and effectively, avoiding long and costly processes.
