The second edition of the Diploma in Senior Management for Nearshoring by COFOCE concluded, opinion leaders, presidents and general directors of companies acquired the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to understand and successfully implement Nearshoring strategies.
The Diploma is unique of its kind in Mexico and in its second edition more than 30 students participated.
“I congratulate you for having taken the time, because you do not train those who have time to spare, I know that you all have your companies, your families, everyone, but by being here today you have already taken that great step, and I congratulate you, thank you very much,” said Luis Rojas, General Director of COFOCE.
The diploma course consisted of 8 modules and students were able to experience a business agenda in Chicago last November, because after New York Chicago is the second most important financial center in the United States.
The program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to successfully understand, implement and manage nearshoring strategies in the business environment.
The topics discussed in the modules were related to Nearshoring, the impact of the USMCA block on the international scene, the trade of the Asian Giant, through the current geopolitical spectrum, Euroshoring and Asiashoring; the window of opportunity with the old continent of the region with the greatest commercial dynamism, energy transition, green and sustainable investments, among other topics of interest to the sector.
Knowledge was contributed to attendees, who said that it is a Diploma that helped them learn the strategies for a successful future in their companies.
“Most of the talks were very interesting, first-hand information, thinking people and decision-makers in the Nearshoring sector, dedicated to what has now been a phenomenon, which is not new, which was already known not to be new, but we did not understand why it has been around as long as it has, and that is where the diploma, at least for me, has helped me understand where it did start, what we have not taken advantage of, how we could take advantage of it, and what I would highlight the most is that, the information that has been shared, the contacts that have been made with the people who have shared the information and with whom we are sharing the diploma,” said Sergio Padilla, director of Boltronic, student of the Diploma and speaker of the success story.
“It is an honor for me to be able to complete this course because I believe that all the tools that have been provided to us during all these hours are essential perspectives and knowledge, but above all, they are positions of different paradigm shifts.,” said the Secretary of Economy, Cristina Villaseñor, who was in the closing event.
