Now you can be in Japan and enjoy a good Mexican food, with 100 percent Guanajuatense products.

In the second chapter of the series CON SABOR A GUANAJUATO created by COFOCE and TV4, they show how to prepare a Mexican meal with products that are exported from Guanajuato.

Through a chef who lives in Japan, a dish was prepared with pork and broccoli products, from the companies CICABA and Expor San Antonio, both from Guanajuato that currently export their products to more than 3 countries.

El Granjero Feliz (Cicaba) is a certified pork producer and packer located in Penjamo, which sells in the national and international market, while Export San Antonio is a company dedicated to the production, processing and sale of frozen vegetables located in the municipality of Villagran.

“Most of the people who work here are women. Women who are breadwinners, mothers, and the work we do is very important,” said Martina Cardenas, an instructor at Expor San Antonio.

Expor San Antonio is a company that produces cauliflower, carrots, but mainly broccoli. Beyond that, it is also a generator of jobs.

“It is a company that has contracts with personnel from all the surrounding areas, Salamanca, Celaya, Cortazar, Juventino Rosas, from all the surrounding areas”, said Martin Rodriguez, area supervisor at Expor San Antonio.

The Con Sabor a Guanajuato series will show you in each episode a success story of Guanajuatense food and beverage products that are exported to other countries, every Tuesday at 6 pm on TV4 and COFOCE’s social networks.

COFOCE has supported both exporting companies with certifications, training, international fairs and expos, linkages, among other, and this has been a key boost for their export.

COFOCE and the Government of the People will continue working on inclusive export projects and constant economic growth and prosperity that benefit the people of Guanajuato.
