Marca Guanajuato encourages local consumption by promoting and preserving Guanajuatense traditions and identity

San Miguel de Allende has a new space full of identity, pride and tradition with the inauguration of the Gourmet Artisanal Gallery “La Paz 14” by Marca Guanajuato.
The Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Denisse Garcia Munoz Ledo, encourages local consumption by promoting and preserving Guanajuatense traditions and identity to have an inclusive economy that reaches all people.
The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, noted the importance of opening spaces that generate prosperity with the sale of crafts, gourmet foods and drinks from the region.
“I am proud to have this recognition of our roots, of the Guanajuato culture, but above all of the people, of the artisans, their vision and commitment are the driving force behind the development of entrepreneurs, merchants, artisans, because we know that behind each artisanal piece, each business, each gallery, there is a family that prospers, but above all that is proud”, said Villasenor.
The Official added that the economic policy of the “Guanajuato is prosperity” Axis has as a priority the entrepreneurship, development and strengthening of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in addition to their recognition as synonyms of quality, authenticity, but above all of identity.
This is the third commercial space ‘Galeria Gourmet La Paz 14’ in the State, adding to those existing in Guanajuato City and Leon, in which artisan products from different municipalities of Guanajuato are exhibited, such as:
- Acambaro, Apaseo el Alto, Celaya, Comonfort, Dolores Hidalgo CIN, Guanajuato, Leon, San Miguel Allende, Celaya, Irapuato, Apaseo el Alto, Apaseo el Grande, Cortazar, Tierra Blanca among other, reflecting the great diversity and cultural richness of Guanajuato
Through this collaboration, the State Government and Enlace Guanajuato Artesanal consolidate a support network that not only promotes the economic development of the communities, but also celebrates Guanajuato pride.
