The System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family -DIF-, delivered a community park and technological equipment for dehydrating and preserving, for the production of guava rolls, as part of the Community Mindfacture Node in the Community of Bano of Agua Caliente in Silao de la Victoria, with an investment of more than 187 thousand pesos.
The President of the Advisory Council of the Guanajuato State DIF System, Adriana Ramirez Lozano explained that each of the actions seeks an opportunity to develop different products that benefit the families that make up the development groups of Red Movil: Community Health and Wellbeing.
Also, said Ramirfez the potential that the inhabitants of the Agua Caliente community have with guava production; for this reason, it was necessary to train them and provide them with the tools in collaboration with IDEA GTO.
“We had the idea of improving this community through the Mindfacture Nodes and promote their skills, especially due to the important production of guava, also because they are very hard-working Silaoenses, that is why they started making preserves that are very delicious,” said Ramirez.
