To creat social impact projects, through the joint participation of young people, consultants, mentors and directors of municipal youth bodies, JuventudEsGTO held the Node 2024 Forum in Leon.
“In this forum we will build the best projects together with all of you. We have a unique space for the voices of youth to resonate in Guanajuato and we have a space to listen to each other, inspire each other, support each other and create together,” said Antonio Navarro, general director of JuventudEsGTO.
Nodo JuventudEs is a program that seeks to contribute to strengthen municipal bodies that care for youth through financial support provided by the Government of the State of Guanajuato, through JuventudEsGTO. By 2024, $5.9 million will be invested for 30 projects throughout Guanajuato.
This Forum brought together the representatives of the youth care agencies of the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato, with the purpose of designing and promoting programs and actions in favor of young Guanajuatenses.
In 2023 alone, it supported 32 youth care agencies with support of up to 100 thousand pesos, who participated in the “Nodo JuventudEs” call through 58 strategic projects on issues of the environment, entrepreneurship, addiction prevention, arts and culture, citizen participation, sport, opening and restoration of public spaces.
To do this, 5.5 million pesos were invested and a direct impact was generated on more than 10 thousand people.
Foro Nodo demonstrated its commitment to the comprehensive development of young people from Guanajuato, thereby strengthening the social fabric and promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration and responsibility among youth.
