One thousand students get certificates

So far in the State Administration, more than 293 thousand people are now literate, said the Governor

INAEBA is the first national place in attention to illiteracy and lack of education

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, led the ceremony for the delivery of 1,000 Generation “200 Years” Primary and Secondary education level certificates.

“It is a pleasure and pride to be delivering these 1,000 certificates. Those who receive these certificates today have overcome obstacles to decide to continue with their education,” said the Governor.

In Guanajuato, education opportunities are for everyone, efforts are being multiplied to reach those who, due to various circumstances, have not finished their basic education, and we are doing it through INAEBA, said the Governor.

He added that INAEBA is a national example institution for its results and for the innovative tools it is using to bring education to all of Guanajuato.

The Governor highlighted that last year, more than 55 thousand people were literate and completed their basic education.

The Governor added that so far in Guanajuato, from 2018 to date, there are more than 293 thousand people who are literate and have completed their primary and secondary education.

Figures that are also reasons for celebration and place INAEBA in first place nationally in attention to illiteracy and educational backwardness, said the Governor.

“You are an example that it is possible, today you receive this certificate, and thus you will be able to continue studying, as is the case of Damian, a 13-year-old boy from Celaya who, thanks to the 10-14 Program, completed his primary school studies, and will now continue with middle school and then with high school,” said the Governor.

In Guanajuato, actions are generated so that Guanajuatenses continue with their academic training, for example in the 34 Guanajuato Contigo Si Community Centers, there are computers and internet connection so that they can continue studying, said the Governor.

Through the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG) and the Advanced Baccalaureate and Higher Education System (SABES) Guanajuatenses can study high school and a university degree online, at their own pace.
