The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, presided over the opening ceremony of the 62nd edition of ANPIC and reaffirmed his commitment to continue supporting the business sector of Guanajuato.
“We keep on working in a coordinated manner with businessmen, together we are strengthening the economic and social development of Guanajuato, proof of this is that we are already the fifth economy in the country,” said the State President.
Furthermore, their participation has been important to move forward facing various obstacles, and to be national references in different areas, for example the fact that Guanajuato has healthy finances, and this is endorsed by world-class certifying companies, said the Governor.
“It is an honor to accompany the great community of the supply industry at the inauguration of ANPIC, the most important fair in the sector on the American continent,” said Rodríguez Vallejo.
The Governor warmly welcomed exhibitors, buyers and visitors to this great world-class exhibition.
In this edition for three days, 800 supplier companies, 900 stands and 9 thousand visitors from 29 countries participate, such as:

Rodriguez Vallejo noted that ANPIC is a clear example of the economic dynamism and future vision of the local industry.
In this edition, a further step is being taken to face present and future challenges, by presenting the One Stop Shop strategy, which will link 50 supplier companies with 50 international buyers.
The Governor congratulated the family and friends of Daniel Tavarez Romero, posthumously awarded with the APIMEX Business Merit recognition, for his more than 20 years participating in institutions related to the sector and for his management as president of this same Association.
Rodriguez Vallejo also congratulated those who make up the Rali Group, who were recognized with the Harmony and Social Responsibility award. “You are an example of talent, innovation and commitment to quality in your products,” he said.
The President of APIMEX, Fernando Padilla Padilla, highlighted that ANPIC is a benchmark for the industry, since it is the most important supply event on the American continent for the leather-footwear, leather goods, textile-clothing, furniture and automotive industries.
