Next Wednesday, November 1st, the second edition of Trends & Design Fashion Forum will be held, an event that is organized to promote the fashion industry in Guanajuato.
The administration of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo takes advantage of the potential of the traditional sectors of Guanajuato by betting on the talent and proposals of the fashion industry.
The head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development –SDES- Ramon Alfaro Gomez explained that the Forum has the objective of inspiring, sparking innovation, generating ideas, motivating entrepreneurship and developing businesses that generate and preserve jobs.
Trends & Design Fashion Forum 2023 is a space where global expert mentors and speakers transmit their knowledge through keynote lectures and networking to entrepreneurs, businessmen, designers and students.
The Guanajuato Fashion Cluster is made up of:
- Chamber of the Footwear Industry of the State of Guanajuato –CICEG-, the Association of Industrial Supplier Companies of Mexico –APIMEX-, the Chamber of the Tannery Industry –CICUR- and the National Chamber of Clothing -CANAIVE-
The event will be held at the ‘Roberto Plasencia Saldaña’ Bicentennial Theater in Leon in which national and international experts will analyze 6 central topics:
- Business
- Mexican design
- Innovation
- Sustainability
- Technology
- Trends
The invited speakers for the 2023 edition are:
- Karim Rashid, Charly Jeffrey, Rodrigo Basilicati Cardin, Sara Galindo, Emanuele Zamponi and Walter Rodriguez
Guanajuato promotes the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized companies in the fashion industry with a strategy that promotes the strengthening of this ecosystem. ‘November Fashion Month’ is a benchmark for the positioning of the industry in Guanajuato through national and international events.
The previous edition of this Forum had an influx of more than 1,400 people and included the participation of:
