The Annual Meeting of Industrialists -RAI- will have as its main focus “Industrial Transformation: Energy, Innovation and Circular Economy in Mexico”

“Once again Guanajuato is the industrial capital of Mexico, it is the epicenter of innovation and industry 4.0; we have to work hard on issues such as energy, innovation and the circular economy. In Guanajuato we are acting in the present, but also in what is coming in the future”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.

The Governor led the inauguration of the Annual Meeting of Industrialists -RAI- 2023, the most important industrial event in Mexico and which coincides with the 5th edition of the Industrial Transformation Mexico –ITM- 2023 .
“Guanajuato opens its doors to you. Here we are betting on the knowledge industry that is Mindfacture, we want not only to build cars, but also to design the cars of the future, the new electric engines, the new hydrogen engines and the new hybrid engines. Today we are that industrialized country that in many aspects has grown and that still has many opportunities ahead of us”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“We need to go with the big trends, such as sustainable development and the generation of clean energy in quantity and quality. We need to further develop our innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in the country,” said the Governor.
The 2023 edition of the RAI will have as its main axis “Industrial transformation: Energy, Innovation and Circular Economy in Mexico”.
This year these topics will be addressed:
- Circular economy, future trends, artificial intelligence, electromobility, nearshoring and the presentation of the awards: Ethics and Values, and Mexico 4.0
The most representative figures of the economic, political and social life of Mexico participate in the RAI, they analyze the progress and challenges of the sector, and formulate initiatives and projects that seek to contribute to the sustained development of the industry.
Three keynote conferences will be held:
- “Circular Economy”, with Juan Verde, who is an international strategist for the private and public sectors
- “Trends of the future”, with Silvia Leal, she is an international technology expert, with the participation of Governor Diego Sinhue
- “Artificial Intelligence”, with Bernardo Hernandez, he is an investor and advisor
There will be five panels:
- Electromobility, Infrastructure, Industrial policy and nearshoring, Innovation and inclusion and Security and rule of law
This event is held from October 3 to 5 in Leon, and is led by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States –CONCAMIN-, which represents 119 industrial chambers and associations; there are close to a million companies, which represent 35% of the national Gross Domestic Product –GDP-, achieve 90% of national exports and offer 42% of total formal employment.
The RAI is attended by secretaries of State, heads of public institutions, governors, legislators, academics, ambassadors and intellectuals.
