The induction day of the Republic School model in High School was a success, where there was the presence and participation of more than 750 people, including students, teachers and commissioners of this program, promoted by the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato –SEG- in its 7 Regional Delegations.
The objective of this work day was to provide young people with the necessary tools to start their Republic School projects in High School, strengthening their abilities and skills in favor of their communities.
Ruben Lara Valdes, director for the Care and Operation of Higher Secondary Education Institutions, representing the teacher Aldelmo Emanuel Israel Reyes Pablo, Undersecretary of Higher Secondary and Higher Education of the SEG, urged each president of the Republic School not to forget about their responsibilities and that what they learn in these workshops is applied in their projects to enhance their community actions.
The delegate of Region IV, Juan Luis Saldana Lopez, congratulated the presidents of Republic School institutions, whom he told that they are the future leaders of Guanajuato, Mexico and the world.
In Region IV of Education, there are 159 mid level schools and 13 universities that operate with their Republic School, said Carlos Enrique Garcia Cardenas, Head of the Department of Higher Preparatory and Higher Education of this Delegation.
In the premises of the Irapuato mega park, the presidents of mid level Republic School of Salamanca, Irapuato, Guanajuato, Romita, Silao de la Victoria, San Francisco del Rincon and Purisima del Rincon met to carry out the training of the processes that will have to be developed in their educational and social communities.
The workshops that were practiced during this work day were:
- Leadership and Service; Culture of Peace and Management Linkage; Design of Social Projects, Life Project and Leader Vision
Social integration activities were also held, such as:
- Rallies, contests, karaoke, music and inflatables
