“The future of Guanajuato is to generate wealth from knowledge; it is important that they get down to work and for this reason, together we are going to give Guanajuato the Development Plan for the year 2053”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, when inaugurating ‘Make it Viral 2023’.
The event is an initiative that rewards the most creative content of value and strengthens communication with young people through Social Networks.
Guanajuato, said the Governor, has several assets and one of them is its youth, therefore, it seeks to encourage their creativity, leadership, growth and opportunities, in this case, with the production of content.
“I want to ask you to participate in the Development Plan for 2053, there is an opportunity to express your comments and opinions; I imagine a Guanajuato with safe cities, with first-world transportation, in a city where we can recycle waste, that you say how you want a Guanajuato, that there are opportunities for everyone, that we can be happy, where we are not judged for our physical condition”, said the Governor.
“Make it Viral is the opportunity to give voice, leadership and empowerment to all young people, because as an innovative State, this is the communication that must be directed so that they, through social networks, undertake, create and communicate a better world, with clear, direct messages, with content that communicates and has an impact in order to have a better life and better development”, said the Governor.
From the State Government, the goal is that more young people are the spokespersons:
- Of traditions, good habits, risk prevention, the beauty of Guanajuato, entrepreneurship, innovation
Presenting topics such as:
- Tourism, Sports, Prevention, Environment, Health, Innovation and Mindset, as well as content with a cause and those that allow us to feel the pride and identity of being Guanajuato
The General Coordinator of Social Communication of the Government of Guanajuato, Alan Sahir Marquez Becerra, said that just as young people “make it big” on social networks, the Governor of Guanajuato does the same with the State, because one of the potential that Guanajuato has is the youth, therefore, the Governor has sought to ‘make it’ in the positioning of the State with more and better opportunities for youth and the population in general, such as better Social, Economic and Health Development, for example.
“Today’s young people are the bravest generation in history; they are the generation of decisions, of leadership; it is a generation that is transforming Guanajuato and the country”, said the Coordinator.
The Secretary of Social and Human Development, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, said that it is time to generate positive content that shares experiences, problems and situations that young people consider appropriate with the intention of achieving a common good, and thus their opinions and points of view and visions can be heard on the way to build dreams.
“We need youth to be in school and prepare for the future; we are called to transform our society because young people will take Guanajuato to another level”, said the Secretary.
Antonio Navarro, General Director of JuventudES GTO, agreed that this event empowers youth to get ahead and achieve their dreams, since Hazlo Viral is about generating experiences in each message that is uploaded to Social Networks.
“Today as a new generation, it implies taking responsibility for the generation of content; let’s not forget that behind each computer or device, we are human beings, and that is where, from Guanajuato, land of conspirators, we want to co-inspire the Networks and Content Platforms to be a comprehensive development platform for our youth”, said Navarro.
