Guanajuato is being positioned as a safe and healthy tourist destination in the after Covid 19 scenario

Jorge Cabrejos Samame, Director of Marketing of the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato presented the virtual destination “¡Guanajuato está de vuelta! Mostrando la Grandeza del Turismo” in order to position the tourist destination as one of the favorite in the post Covid 19 crisis scenario.
Cabrejos Samame also presented the tourist platform “Visita Guanajuato” which is now available in AppStore and Google Play. The app shows those interested information about hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, tours, experiences, promotions, air and road connections, events and news.
A preferred destination
Cabrejos said that Guanajuato is the 7th. most visited tourist destination in Mexico thanks to its attractive places, its architecture, history, art, culture, its natural areas, the gastronomic and wine events, the kindness of its people among other qualities.
The Director of Marketing also said that the Secretary of Tourism working with hotels, restaurants and tour operators offer the tourists “purchase certificates and special discounts” that they can use in further visits to the State.

“Guanajuato is the only tourist destination that sells certificates in a simple way and concentrated in the same platform, thus providing a benefit to service providers”, said Cabrejos.
